As this is my first post I thought I would introduce myself.
I am a work at home Mom.
I love vampire & shape shifting books and movies though they have a tendency to leave me feeling annoyed because they are not very accurate.
I am currently writing a more accurate version of the above. I know it will be the next biggest thing!
I have one child, a boy. And Boy is he a Boy!
He has a Mastiff. Also a boy.
I have a large black kitty and a cute Shitzu/Terrier.
The large black kitty and HUGE Mastiff don't always get along.
The Mastiff is afraid to be alone outside (meaning without humans) so he is an indoor dog. As he got older, our house somehow got smaller!
My son doesn't go outside that often because he was born thinking boundaries are for crossing. All boundaries. Specifically the neighbors fences. Somehow, they don't appreciate him climbing into their yard to almost be eaten by their equally large dog.
I enjoy sitting back with a hot cup of tea (organic White Peony is my favorite!) and some imported cookies, preferably from England!
At times, I would rather a hot cup of organic coffee. Kenya is my favorite blend. Very grounding!
I sometimes like to cook - generally when I don't have to!
I am a good cook. (Its a shame it is not that enjoyable to me!)
Doing laundry is a form of meditation to me.
I love reading, just don't have that much time anymore.
I love snow and rain and the middle of the night.
A misty night is almost as good as snow to me! Rainy/misty nights are my favorite!
I love people, just not a bunch at once. (Concerts make me ill for days after.)
I don't have a favorite color, I think having one is rather imbalanced and silly!
At times I can be altogether too literal.
I enjoy having fun and laughing!
A night by the fireplace with family and close friends is more rewarding than club hopping - in my opinion. (My sister does not agree!)
A secret no one else knows about me:
When I am really stressed, I wash dishes for the aromatherapy. (Mrs. Meyers orange/clove dish soap is the best!)
The water is soothing too. :)
I like spreading light and joy to those who need it and want it.
Blessings!
